Affiliated Memberships

If you work for an Affiliated Organisation you can get a discounted membership price. Sport Aston offers a friendly environment where everyone feels comfortable working out from  beginners to experienced gym users.

Gold    = Gym, Swim, Sauna + Steam & Fitness & Yoga Classes

Sliver  = Gym, Swim, Sauna & Steam

Bronze = Gym only

These are available for 3, 6 or 12 months. If you are a student there is an Academic Year membership option which is expires at the end of the Academic Year so you don't pay over summer.

Taking a Membership at The Sir Doug Ellis Woodcock Sports Centre:

Please come to The Sir Doug Ellis Woodcock Sports Centre with the following:

  • A completed Affiliated membership form. Available to Download here.

  • Proof of employment at your Affiliated Organisation (ID card, pay slip, NUS card)

  • Cash or a Credit/Debit Card (we accept all major credit/debit cards except American Express)

  • Sport Aston Staff will take your membership details and process the application. If you are a new user of
    the facility, an induction session will be booked for you at no extra cost.

    Inductions are in groups and will take about 45 minutes, depending upon how experienced you are in using similar gym equipment. Experienced users who have previously been inducted in another gym must still be inducted to the Sport Aston gym.

    This is an opportunity to be shown how to set the machine consoles, how to use the equipment safely and effectively and to ask the gym staff particular questions that you may have about starting an exercise routine.
