Stage 1: Enrolment: Online using MAP (My Aston Portal) - from 1st September
If you have firmly accepted an unconditional place at Aston University, you will be e-mailed your University network account login details from 1st September. These login details are personal to you and will be used throughout your studies at Aston University, so please keep them safe.
The e-mail will also include details of how to access our web-based portal, “MAP”, to update your personal details and check we have all the correct information for you. Once you have completed this initial stage of enrolment you will gain more access to the University Portal and be able to perform other tasks.
Email not arrived?
If you didn't provide an email address when you applied, or it has since changed, please contact the admissions staff for your programme immediately. Their contact details will be on any offer letter you have received from us, or may be found at the bottom of your course's web page.
If you have supplied us with the correct email address, but have not received an email from us with your login details, please send an email to email@example.com.
Stage 2; Upload a photograph
Once you have completed Stage 1, you'll be able to upload a photograph using MAP. You must do this before you attend face-to-face enrolment (Stage 3) and the photograph will also be used on your Aston ID Card.
Stage 3: Face-to-face enrolment
Face-to-face enrolment is the final stage before you become a fully enrolled Aston Student. Your enrolment slot will be on your Compulsory Academic Timetable found on MAP. Please make sure you attend this session as you will not have access to a number of Student functions until enrolment is complete.
