The data is protected by copyright and made available on the understanding that its use is subject to the licence agreements made between the host services and suppliers and Aston University. The use of illegal software can have very serious financial consequences for the University.

You may not remove or tamper with any copyright notice e.g. © Aston University, on any data printed or downloaded from an electronic service.

Use of electronic services is permitted for: teaching, research, personal educational development, administration and management of the business of Aston University.

The data may not be copied except that you may print or download, within limits, full or partial results of searches. No further or multiple copies may be made.

Use, including downloading, printing and copying, must be for private study or research purposes only. Use excludes consultancy or services where these databases are commercially exploited: e.g. work of significant benefit to the employer(s) of students on industrial placement or part-time courses.The data retrieved from these services may not be used for commercial resale or stored for subsequent access in a networking mode.
