Congratulations on obtaining a place at Aston! We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to The School of Languages and Social Sciences in September and hope that you are looking forward to joining us.

This Undergraduate Guide is designed to provide you with useful information about Aston and answer any questions you may have; from what to bring with you when you move in, to key information from your lecturers. Our subject specific pages also have information on your degree subject, messages from your lecturers, and anything you may need to prepare before your arrival at Aston!

Aston Welcome 2012

Aston Welcome 2012 (aka Freshers' Week) is a fantastic, two-week long series of activities, designed to help you - our new students - settle into University life quickly and easily.

  • Keep checking the Aston Students' Guild website to find out what is in store for Freshers' Week 2012. (UK students should also keep an eye out for their welcome pack from the Students' Guild, which should arrive during the first weeks of September.)
