During my Placement Year, I went to Japan to work as a Teaching Assistant in a university located near Tokyo. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity to gain paid work experience in Japan whilst studying. My Placement Year has been a key aspect in being able to get a job.

Campus life in First Year is amazing, it’s such a small community and everyone is so friendly, you can’t walk across campus without bumping into someone you know - all your friends live on your doorstep a maximum of 5 minutes walk away which means you make friends really quickly.
