How is your placement year assessed?

The placement year is worth 10% of the final degree result. Whether you spend your year in industry, at an overseas university or in the classroom, you'll be supported throughout the year by a dedicated placements officer. They will visit you in your place of work or study and stay in touch with you during the programme.

Assessment will take the form of an essay, an oral examination and two self-evaluation reports charting your progress during your placement.
