Centre for Research in Sociology and Policy Studies (CRSPS)

CRSPS brings together researchers from diverse perspectives to produce critical, interdisciplinary analyses of public policy and social justice.

One of our primary objectives is to create spaces for fostering collective research and open dialogue, both amongst academic researchers and practitioners working in various public sectors. The centre also hosts seminars, online forums and a regular reading group.

We are particularly interested in developing collaborative projects with practitioners, professionals, community organisations and activist groups outside the university, as well as interested researchers and research groups at other institutions.

PhD students

We welcome PhD applications in these areas and can offer expert supervision and the support of a small and friendly school. Postgraduate students are invited to all Centre events and play a central role in hosting seminars and conferences.
