Sir Michael Arthur

Sir Michael Arthur is currently the UK Chairman of Koenigswinter.  He was British Ambassador to Germany from 2007 - 2010.


He studied briefly in Bavaria in 1967, and was posted to the British Embassy in Bonn from 1984 - 1988, dealing with international security issues. He then returned to the Foreign Office in London where he was head of  European Integration Department, leading on Single Market preparation and then the Maastricht treaty negotiation

Michael was also British High Commissioner to India from 2003 -2007, and Deputy Head of Mission in Washington from 1999 - 2001.
