Distance learning @ Aston: supporting you

Student support services
Good communication is key to a successful distance learning experience.
At Aston, we pride ourselves on the excellent communication between our teaching staff and all our distance learning students. Once you’ve enrolled on a programme, you’ll be provided with a personal Aston University email address and contact details for:
  • Your individual personal tutor
  • All subject tutors
  • Our academic support team.
All our staff members aim to develop personal working relationships with distance learning students. Regardless of your query, you’ll always receive a quick and personal response and timely, detailed assignment feedback.

We also provide:

Personal and timely feedback to assignments

High quality feedback on assignments is an essential part of the learning process for our students. For every completed assignment, you’ll receive a personalised and detailed response and opportunity to discuss this feedback with the tutor.
