Do I need to have an IELTS score?
A International students whose first language is not English are required to have an appropriate score in an approved examination in English language before they can register on an academic programme. Please refer to your chosen programme page under “entry requirements”.
Q How many students will be in my class?
A Class sizes may vary depending on which programme you are following, for example, Pre-sessional classes are no more than 16 students, IYA and KYA classes have on average around 18.
Q Where do classes take place?
A CELCA classes often take place in the North Wing but can also take place anywhere in the Main Building. You will be given clear room instructions on your timetable.Campus
Q Can I have additional help with my English once I have registered on my programme?
A All our international undergraduate, postgraduate and research students are entitled to free English language tutorials. The tutorials are individual (one-to-one) and last for one hour. Click here to find out more.

A Your academic tutors will be happy to help you in any way they can. Your personal tutor, with whom you will have regular meetings, will also be happy to help.
