Short course students 

Students who are registered at Aston University on a recognised short course.

How do I join the library?

Please bring your ID during serviced opening hours to the Help desk on the ground floor of the Library. You will also need two passport sized photographs.
You will need to complete a registration form (also available from the Library). Your visitor card will be ready for you to collect within one week. This card will be used for borrowing books and should be shown to Reception staff to gain access to the building.

Is there a charge?

No

Can I borrow books?

Yes, you may borrow a total of 6 books at any one time. (You will not be able to borrow short loan books or journals.) Fines will be charged on overdue books.

Can I access electronic resources?

You can access many of our online resources (with some restrictions) if you bring in your own laptop and request a username and password from the Help desk.

How long does my membership last?

For the length of your course.
