Aston Graduates (Alumni)

You can apply for Alumni membership of the Library once you have graduated.

How do I join the library?

You will need to download and complete a registration form, or you can collect a form from the Help desk.  Please bring your form with current proof of address and two passport sized photographs to the Library Help desk between the hours of 09:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday. We will need to check your status as an Aston graduate with the University Alumni Office. Once your details have been checked, your Library card should be ready for you to collect within one week.  The card will need to be shown each time you visit the Library and will be needed to borrow books.

Is there a charge?

Yes, £30 per year.

Can I borrow books?

Yes, you may borrow a total of 6 books at any one time. (You will not be able to borrow short loan books or journals.) Fines will be charged on overdue books.

Can I access electronic resources?

You can access many of our online resources (with some restrictions) if you bring in your own laptop and request a username and password from the Help desk.

How long does my membership last?

12 months. Renewable on application.
