During term and exam periods the Library will open for 24 hours, 6 days a week.
During 24/6 opening hours, visitors who have been issued with a day pass or a SCONUL Access Aston University Library membership card can use the Library between 09:00 - 21:00 Monday - Friday.
Day passes are only available Mondays - Fridays between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 so you will need to already have a day pass or a SCONUL Access Aston University Library membership card if you would like to stay in the Library beyond 17:00. Visitors with a day pass or a membership card are kindly requested to leave the Library at 21:00 on weekdays during 24 hour opening periods.
Visitors with a SCONUL Access Aston University Library membership card can also use the Library on Saturdays 10:00 - 18:00 and Sundays 11:00 - 17:00. Visitors with these cards are kindly requested to leave the Library at 17:00 on Sundays during 24 hour opening periods. Day passes are not available at the weekends.
From Monday 25 March 2013 - further notice day passes will not be issued and visitors with a SCONUL Reference Only card cannot gain access to the Library at any time. This is due to our busy examination period and a refurbishment which is taking place over the summer vacation.
