We aim to make our resources and facilities accessible to all users of the Library. Here you can find information about specific services for library users with a disability or other additional need:
Please ask any member of Library staff for help if required.
Alternatively, if you would like to discuss your individual requirements please contact Anne Perkins, tel. 0121 204 4492, email a.v.perkins@aston.ac.uk.
Please consider declaring your disability to us. This ensures that we
can give you the right kind of support. All information will be kept
in the strictest confidence. You may also discuss your Library needs in confidence with the Disability and Additional Needs Unit (DANU), tel. 0121 204 4711, email danu@aston.ac.uk, who can then ask the Library to set up additional services on your behalf.
If you require your Study Support Worker to access Library services on your behalf, please complete an 'Authorisation for Use of Library Services' memo. This is also available from the Help desk on the ground floor of the Library and it will need to be produced at all times when visiting the Library.
