The clinic works in partnership with local and national NHS Trusts and Primary Care Trusts to deliver specialist diagnostic investigations for a wide range of neuropsychiatric conditions.

Aston University is highly recognised in the diagnosis and treatment of photosensitive epilepsy. This clinic is the only consultant-led specialist centre in the UK for assessment of the full range of visual and pattern sensitivity.

We also offer neurophysiological assessment of auditory function for medico-legal purpose (noise induced hearing loss) with referrals form major solicitor firms and ENT Surgeons.

What is photosensitive epilepsy?

Photosensitive epilepsy is the name given to epilepsy in which all, or almost all, seizures are provoked by flashing or flickering light or some shapes or patterns.
