Dr Jill Collins

 

Dr Jill Collins is a Research Fellow/Health Economist in the School of Life and Health Sciences working on the Extra Care project with Aston University.

Research interests and projects include:

  • Mathematical modelling of “real life” systems using computer simulation. Needs analysis and projections based on dynamic populations.

  • Statistical exploration of well-being and health indicators.

  • Trend identification and analysis of socio-demographic data using Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

  • Non-linear Optimisation Techniques and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
