Ageing Eye

Research in this cluster deals both with degenerative changes attributed solely to the ageing process and aspects of ocular dysfunction and pathology.

We address social consequences, anatomical and physiological understanding, and treatment - including prosthetic intervention. Overarching research themes include optical imaging and instrumentation, presbyopia and myopia, vascular disorders and the ocular surface.
