Two days of teaching and training on working with older adults with cognitive impairment.
Practical, evidence-based and theoretical approaches combine to produce a course suitable for practitioners such as psychologists or occupational therapists working in rehabilitation of older adults (with dementias) wishing to consolidate, update or extend their knowledge. It is also appropriate for those at earlier stages of their careers who wish to specialise in this area of rehabilitation. The workshops focus on the application of theoretical knowledge to clinical rehabilitative practice and management. It is led by experienced senior practitioners/researchers.
The fees are as follows: 1 day without assessment £175; 2 days without assessment £340. Participants with a degree or equivalent professional qualification wishing to gain Masters level (level 7) credits can register for the whole module with assessment for £840.
