The Midlands Health Academy
(MHA) is a partnership comprising of Aston University, key
organisations with health related programmes and health care
providers, in the region. The focus of the MHA is on establishing closer
working relationships with the local community - with a view
to widening participation in Further and Higher Education and enhancing
employment in the NHS and other health care providers of under
represented groups. The partnership aims to see an increased number of
local residents acquiring new skills and knowledge for the health sector
and using these skills to return to work or develop their career.
