Undergraduate
Students holding the Certificate of General Education (Attestation) from Azerbaijan with 80% overall and 80% in any specified subjects PLUS IELTS/TOEFL are suitable for entry to the International Foundation Programme only.
Candidates with international qualifications such as A-levels, International Baccalaureate, APs and SATs may be considered for a direct entry onto our bachelor degree programmes, provided a suitable subject mix and grades are obtained.

Postgraduate - Taught
Applicants for a Masters degree will generally require a four-year Bachelors degree (bakalavr) or five-year specialist diploma from a recognised institution with a minimum average grade of 4 or 80% PLUS an IELTS/TOEFL qualification can be considered suitable for entry to a Postgraduate Taught programme at Aston.

Postgraduate - Research
Applicants for a research degree programme will generally require a Masters degree from a recognised institution with a minimum average of 80%, 80% PLUS and IELTS/TOEFL qualification.
Each of Aston's Schools of Study has a number of research groups with the potential to host PhD students. Research specialisms include finance, economics, marketing, organisational psychology, bioenergy, knowledge engineering, photonics, languages, biomedical sciences, neurosciences, health sciences and more.
Applicants for PhD or MPhil programmes should have a magistr in addition to a bakalavr or specialist diploma PLUS an IELTS/TOEFL qualification.
