Undergraduate
The Brunei education system follows the British education system with O levels and A levels examinations. Students with the appropriate A-level grades can apply for year one entry to Aston degree programmes.
Certain subjects such as Engineering and Science will require specific subjects and grades.

Postgraduate - Taught
We will consider applicants holding a First or Upper second-class honours degree or equivalent from the Universiti Brunei Darussalam for direct entry to a Masters degree programme. The specific percentage requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston.
If you are applying for finance, engineering or science based subjects, you must have studied a similar field in your undergraduate degree.
There are a number of conversion courses in the Business School which will accept students from any subject background.

Postgraduate - MBA
You can come from any subject background, but should have at least a first or upper-second class class degree or equivalent and a minimum of three years post graduation managerial work experience, as stipulated by the Association of MBA (AMBA) requirements.

Postgraduate - Research
We will consider applicants holding a masters degree or equivalent from the Universiti Brunei Darussalam for an entry to a research degree programme. The specific percentage requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston.
Each of Aston's Schools of Study has a number of research groups with the potential to host PhD students. Research specialisms include finance, economics, marketing, organisational psychology, bioenergy, knowledge engineering, photonics, languages, biomedical sciences, neurosciences, health sciences and more.
