Undergraduate
You can apply for Year 1 of an undergraduate degree with GCE A levels or local Sri Lankan A levels. Entry grades vary depending on the chosen course, and some courses will require specific subjects

Postgraduate - Taught
You can apply for a 1 year Masters if you have a first class or higher upper second class degree from a recognised Sri Lankan university.
If you are applying for finance, engineering or science based subjects, you must have studied a similar field in your undergraduate degree.
There are a number of conversion courses in the Business School which will accept students from any subject background.

Postgraduate - MBA
You can come from any subject background, but should have at least a first class or upper second class degree from a Sri Lankan university and a minimum of three years post graduation managerial work experience, as stipulated by the Association of MBA (AMBA) requirements.

Postgraduate - Research
You can apply for a research degree if you have a first class or higher upper second class degree from a recognised Sri Lankan university.
Each of Aston's Schools of Study has a number of research groups with the potential to host PhD students. Research specialisms include finance, economics, marketing, organisational psychology, bioenergy, knowledge engineering, photonics, languages, biomedical sciences, neurosciences, health sciences and more.
