Undergraduate
You can apply for Year 1 of an undergraduate degree after graduation from the Indian High School Certificate.
Admissions tutors are looking for high marks in standard 10 and 12. The marks required vary depending on which Indian board you studied and which subject you are applying to. In general applicants should score in the range of 75-85% average as a minimum.
Some degree programmes, such as engineering, sciences and languages, require specific subject backgrounds. Others, including business and some social sciences, are appropriate for students from any previous subject combination.

Postgraduate - Taught
You can apply for a 1 year Masters programme with an undergraduate degree from an overseas institution.
You should at least have a first class degree from an Indian university. The specific percentage requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston and the Indian university which you have graduated from.
If you are applying for finance, engineering, science or social science based subjects; you must have studied a similar field in your undergraduate degree. There are a number of conversion programmes in business and management which are appropriate for students from any subject background.

You can apply for the MBA programme with an undergraduate degree, in any subject area, from an overseas institution and a minimum of three years post graduation managerial work experience. You should have at least a first class degree from an Indian university.

Postgraduate - Research
You can apply for a research degree programme with an undergraduate degree from an overseas institution.

Each of Aston's Schools of Study has a number of research groups with the potential to host PhD students. Research specialisms include finance, economics, marketing, organisational psychology, bioenergy, knowledge engineering, photonics, languages, biomedical sciences, neurosciences, health sciences and more.
