Undergraduate
To be eligible for the international foundation programme students must hold a a minimum of C in the US School Diploma.
For Year 1 entry, you must have SAT (Reasoning Test) with a minimum of 600 in each section or a min score of 26 in the American College Test (ACT) plus one of the below:

at least 3 APs (min score of 4) – this is the preferred option as it would be closest to A levels and involves the student taking AP or college prep classes

at least 3 subjects in SAT Subject tests with a min of 600 in each - for those who don’t have access to the AP test (or some other honours/college prep classes)
Engineering and Science subjects will require specific subjects, but students from any stream can apply for courses in Aston Business School.
Postgraduate - Masters
To be eligible for entry on to a masters programme you must have a good GPA (normally at least 3.0) in both overall and in individual courses from a regionally accredited institution as well as:
If you are applying for finance, engineering or science based subjects, you must have studied a similar field in your undergraduate degree.
Postgraduate - MBA
You can come from any subject background, but should have a good GPA (normally at least 3.0) in both overall and in individual courses from a regionally accredited institution as well as:

have taken advanced-level courses in appropriate subjects
-
have accumulated sufficient credits in major courses (typically between 30 - 54)

and a minimum of three years post graduation managerial work experience, as stipulated by the Association of MBA (AMBA) requirements.
Postgraduate - Research
Each of Aston's Schools of Study has a number of research groups with the potential to host PhD students. Research specialisms include finance, economics, marketing, organisational psychology, bioenergy, knowledge engineering, photonics, languages, biomedical sciences, neurosciences, health sciences and more.
