Undergraduate

Turkish applicants holding the Lise Diplomasi qualification with an overall average score of less than 4.0 will be required to complete a recognised Foundation Programme. Individual subject marks may also be required as well as evidence of your English language ability.

Holders of the Lise Diplomasi from a recognised High School with an overall average score of 4.0 or above may apply for Year 1 of an undergraduate degree.

Some degree programmes, such as engineering, sciences and languages, require specific subject backgrounds.

Postgraduate – Taught Masters

You can apply for a 1 year masters programme with an undergraduate degree from a recognised Indonesian University. 

You should have at least a GPA of 3.0 from a recognised Turkish university. The specific percentage requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston and the Turkish university from which you have graduated. 

If you are applying for finance, engineering, science or social science based subjects; you must have studied a similar field in your undergraduate degree.  There are a number of conversion programmes in business and management which are appropriate for students from any subject background.

Postgraduate - MBA
You can apply for the MBA programme with an undergraduate degree, in any subject area, from an overseas institution and a minimum of three years post graduation managerial work experience. You should have at least an undergraduate degree from a recognised Turkish University with at least a GPA of 3.0 overall or above.

Postgraduate – Executive MBA

You can apply for the Executive MBA programme with an undergraduate degree, in any subject area, from an overseas institution and a minimum of five years post graduation managerial work experience. You should have at least an undergraduate degree from a recognised Turkish University with at least a GPA of 3.0 overall or above.
This programme takes 2.5 years in total and is taught in blocks of 6 days at a time.  It requires the commitment of the student to travel to the UK 6 times per year. 

Postgraduate - Research 

Each of Aston's Schools of Study has a number of research groups with the potential to host PhD students. Research specialisms include finance, economics, marketing, organisational psychology, bioenergy, knowledge engineering, photonics, languages, biomedical sciences, neurosciences, health sciences and more. 

You have to submit a detailed research proposal outlining your intended research topic, its objectives, proposed method of research and an indication of how the proposed research topic relates to previous work by other researchers. Find out more on Aston's Postgraduate research pages.
