Aston Business School: 14/20 overall with scores no less than 10 in Maths and English. A score of 14 is required in specific subjects for degrees such as IBML
Engineering and Applied Science: 12/20 overall with scores of 10 in English and 12 in Maths and Physics where specified as required subjects.
Life and Health Sciences:

Pharmacy: 14 overall with 13 in Chemistry Maths and Biology Min of 10 in English

Optometry: 14 overall with 14 in Biology, Maths and Physics. Min of 10 in English.

Psychology: 13 overall with scores no less than 10 in Maths and English.

Biology and Biomedical Sciences: 12 overall with a minimum 12 in Biology. Minimum of 10 in English.
Languages and Social Sciences: 13/20 overall with scores no less than 10 in Maths and English. For any Language programme, normally need 14/20 in the relevant language.

Postgraduate - Research
Each of Aston's Schools of Study has a number of research groups with the potential to host PhD students. Research specialisms include finance, economics, marketing, organisational psychology, bioenergy, knowledge engineering, photonics, languages, biomedical sciences, neurosciences, health sciences and more.
