The Su Youn Yoo Scholarship
Aston Business School alumna (MSc Marketing Management 2001) Su Youn Yoo has established a scholarship in her name to support students from South Korea studying at Aston University.
Having graduated from Aston University, Su Youn Yoo established her own business, U-Star English Institute (www.u-star.co.kr), teaching English to students and high school teachers. She is the CEO of this highly successful company and also works for a national education broadcasting station.
Criteria
To be considered for the Su Youn Yoo scholarship, applicants must:
- be considered full overseas fee payers and nationals of South Korea who are coming directly from South Korea to study at Aston University
- hold a conditional or unconditional offer for any postgraduate taught programme of study at Aston University
- agree to work with Aston University’s International Office to share with future students their experiences of their time at Aston and to assist with the promotion of Aston University’s programmes where requested
Terms and Conditions There is one scholarship available worth £5,000.00. The scholarship will take the form of a reduction in tuition fees. No cash alternative is available.

The closing date for applications for the 2013/14 academic year will be 5pm (UK Time) on June 28th 2013. The successful applicant will be notified by email within two weeks of the closing date.
The decision of the panel is final. No further discussion will be entered into and there is no right of appeal.
