ABS Undergraduate Scholarship Award Scheme 2012/13                                                                                                 The Aston Business School is pleased to announce several scholarships of £1,000 each in value for each academic year of undergraduate studies and £500 for the placement year. The Aston Business School is offering up to 50% fee scholarships, for part-time UK or EU students on selected programmes. Applications are based on merit and 500-word statement.

Aston Business School MSc scholarships for international students - 2012/13                                                               The Aston Business School is offering a number of Scholarships of up to £2,000 for qualifying offer holders to help with the cost of tuition fees, on all MSc taught programmes excluding the MSc in Supply Chain Management.

Aston Business School MSc International Business scholarships for international students - 2012/13           

  • A number of full-fee scholarships worth £17,000 are available for the most excellent offer holders.  Offer holders must hold the equivalent of a UK 1st class Bachelor’s Honours degree in order to be considered.

  • A number of £10,000 scholarships are available for high achieving offer holders. Offer holders must hold the equivalent of a UK 2:1 Bachelor’s Honours degree or above to be considered.

ABS Research – Graduate Teaching Assistant opportunities 2012/13                                                                                 A number of Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) places will be available for the academic year 2012/13.  GTAs work within their Academic Groups carrying out a range of activities including teaching and marking.  GTAs are awarded for three years (contingent on satisfactory progress) and are worth £20,000 per annum.  Student fees are paid out of this sum, with the remainder paid to the student over the year.  All self-funded students (EU and International) holding a firm unconditional offer can apply for the GTA places.

Full-time ABS Scholarship

Up to the value of £1000.

This scholarship is based on an evaluation of the applicant’s career history, academic ability, merit and potential as an MBA student. The award of this scholarship will be based on the application form, supporting documents and interview. These Scholarships are available for self –funded applicants only.

Full-time Mindful Global Manager Scholarship

Up to the value of £5500

Applicants for this scholarship need to demonstrate self-awareness and leadership skills. To apply for this scholarship the applicant should prepare a three page power point presentation showing

  • An example of your leadership qualities
  • a clear understanding of your strengths and weaknesses as a leader
  • how the Aston MBA may be able to help your leadership development

The award of this scholarship will be based on the presentation of the slides at interview.

These Scholarships are available for self –funded applicants only.

Full-time ABS Merit Scholarship

Up to the value of £5500

The Merit Scholarship is awarded based on your need for financial aid to help with the tuition fee of the Aston MBA. To apply for this scholarship the should prepare a two page powerpoint presentation showing

  • Your reason for needing financial support
  •  How the Aston MBA may help your leadership development

The award of this scholarship will be based on the presentation of the slides at interview. These Scholarships are available for self –funded applicants only.

Full-time MBA Ferguson Trust Scholarship

Up to the value of £5000

Up to ten scholarships are available to applicants exclusively from African countries as listed by the UN through the Ferguson Trust Scholarship. We offer a scholarship of £5,000 for qualifying applicants towards the payment of their tuition fees. These Scholarships are available for self – funded applicants only.

Scholarship requirement

  • Applicants are required to demonstrate how the award of a Ferguson Scholarship would enable them to study the Aston MBA in the UK, before 12 July 2012.

On-line MBA Merit Scholarship

Up to the value of £3000.

This scholarship is based on an evaluation of the applicant’s career history, academic ability, merit and potential as an MBA student. The award of this scholarship will be based on the application form and supporting documents. These Scholarships are available for self –funded applicants only.

Executive MBA Scholarship

Up to the value of £4000.

This scholarship is based on an evaluation of the applicant’s career history, academic ability, merit and potential as an MBA student. The award of this scholarship will be based on the application form and supporting documents. These Scholarships are available for self –funded applicants only.

Full-time students can apply for the ABS Scholarship and either The Mindful Global Manager Scholarship, The ABS Merit Scholarship and the Ferguson Trust Scholarship (if applicable) simultaneously. Each applicant with be awarded only one of the following scholarships along with the ABS Scholarship.

EAS International Undergraduate Scholarship 2012/13                                                                                                      Many programmes within the School of Engineering & Applied Science (SEAS) offer a substantial entrance bursary to all International students. EAS Aston Graduate Discount 2012/13

SEAS offers a discount of £500 to UK and EU students on their MSc programme fees for a full 12 month programme. LHS Postgraduate Masters scholarships – Commonwealth   Shared Scholarship Scheme 2012/13

LHS have 3 scholarships to award in partnership with the UK Department for International Development (DfID) and the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) for the academic year 2012/13. These are fully funded scholarships and include living stipend. These scholarships are for students from developing Commonwealth countries who would not otherwise be able to study in the United Kingdom, wishing to study either of the following programmes:

LHS PhD Opportunities for International Students 2012/2013
LHS have 5 PhD scholarships worth £6,000 per year avaliable in Research Groups allied to Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Pharmacy, Optometry and Psychology. Aston University Postgraduate Taught Masters Scholarship for Bangladesh 2012/13                                                             Through the Aston Annual Fund Scholarships, the International Office has one £5,000 scholarship available for a successful applicant from Bangladesh who has applied and accepted a place on an Aston postgraduate taught masters programme starting in 2012/13. UKEAS Academic Elite Masters Scholarship 2012/13

Aston University in partnership with UKEAS China is pleased to announce one £2,000 scholarship is available for a successful applicant entering a full-time postgraduate taught Masters programme.
