Welcome to the Interdisciplinary studies website.
Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) is both an academic and a administrative unit within Aston University having an equivalent status to that of a School.
IDS has evolved from the highly successful Combined Honours Department at Aston and is founded on the same core values as Combined Honours. The emphasis being on supporting students both academically and pastorally to help them achieve during their time at Aston.
Interdisciplinary Studies encompasses the existing full time Combined Honours and Major/Minor degree programmes as well as the Lifelong Learning Centre (LLC) which will focus on part-time programme delivery as well as work based flexible credit accumulation.
