The SITS Menu System is divided into four sections, each controlling different elements of the University's on-going administration.
MENSYS Menu System
This is the central component overarching the CAMS, SRS and MAS systems. It provides access to the other three systems as well as controlling who has permission to gain entry to specific areas of the system.
CAMS Credit Accumulation Management System
The main tasks dealt with by the CAMS system are:
- Scheme Definition and Management
- Student Programme planning
SRS Student Registration System
The main tasks dealt with by the SRS system are:
- Enrolment and re-enrolment
- Production of HESES returns
- Production of the HESA return
- Production of First Destination Surveys
- Student Assessment and Progress
- Student statistics and reports
- Student Loans administration
- Research Grants administration
MAS Marketing & Admissions System
The main tasks dealt with by the MAS system are:
- Recording enquirers and despatch of marketing material
- Application Management for UCAS and direct application processing
- User defined offer library
- Administration of UCAS links
- UCAS semi-automatic confirmation and clearing
- Transferring applicants to SRS and CAMS
