AstonIP is the University’s converged IP network which is a single cabling system that manages the delivery and distribution of data (eg. computing network, internet), voice traffic (eg. telephones) and video traffic.
Accessing the network on-campus
Access to the network on-campus is via a wall mounted network outlet which is connected to your personal computer and telephone using a cable. There are outlets across campus allowing access to the network from offices, lecture theatres and study rooms.
