SITS / MAP Upgrade this Weekend

Staff and students will be unable to log into MAP or SITS from 5pm Friday the 2nd of March ( 2/03/2012 ) until Monday the 5th of March ( 5/03/2012 ) due to a system upgrade.
While MAP is unavailable Blackboard and Aston ePortfolio will remain accessible to staff and students directly and via the MAP login page at
http://www.aston.ac.uk/map .
MAP Aston Alumni

Aston Alumni now have a new MAP page for all students who study a standard degree programme. This page is designed to allow Aston Alumni to form a presence from the first year and onwards and to communicate to students the facilities and support Aston Alumni offers.
Placements now in the Student Lookup

The Student Lookup now contains a student's placement details once it has been approved by the Placement Office. Information such as the placement organisation, main contact, the student’s role and start/end dates are all now visible in the ‘Current Programme Details’ section of the lookup.
Personal Tutees/Students

Academic Staff are now able to view details of their personal tutees/research students in MAP. The link to the details is available in the Academic Staff Actions container.
