The focus of the project was to develop a new deployment method for portable fire extinguishers. The new concept features a "pull sleeve" that replaces the conventional extinguisher safety pin. This enables the user to easily remove the safety mechanism and activate the extinguisher with a single movement. The sleeve creates a more intuitive and quicker approach to operating the extinguisher. The new concept also features velco mounting, reduced weight and the option to pull rather than carry the extinguisher when required.
