Aston University was a logical choice for me. It was
not only on my doorstep, but its reputation exceeds many other universities. I
undertook Computing for Business, with a natural flair for IT it was well
suited to me. The course, every year, increased in depth and detail.
Computing for Business gave me real, industry
transferable, skills. You can enjoy the benefits of Computer Science principles
and Business modules. These are
taught in a number of methods- lectures, tutorials and hands-on labs, by
passionate lecturers. The course structure enables your knowledge to get
stronger module by module and is the gateway to the start of your career.
I was offered a job for my Placement Year with
Asidua where I was able to apply what I had learned and also leave with twice
as much industry knowledge. After graduating with a First Class Honours I now
work on one of the world’s largest outsourced IT contracts with
Capgemini.
Not only have I left Aston with a wonderful degree
in terms of credibility and knowledge, I have made a network of friends and
staff which is invaluable in the big world of business.
