I have learnt a lot during my time at Aston
. The formula student project has helped me to understand how a part would be designed, and built. My design competition module also allowed me to investigate an array of different design projects each allowing me to develop a different skill set and think around new problems in creating, innovative ways.
Formula student was one of the highlights of my work at Aston. It was great design a part of a car, going through the design process and then building it to go onto the car. Finally taking it to completion to race against other university was a great fun and good experience for a career in engineering.
After graduating from Aston I was offered a job as an associate design engineer at B/E Aerospace. My responsibilities include
design interior of the Airbus A350. Main responsibilities are: Initial concept designs, detailed designs, working within a digital environment to create in context parts.
