Profile

I joined Aston University as a PhD student in the Biomedical engineering research group in the School of Engineering & Applied Science. My research is on the electronics of a Ventricular Assist Device.

Prior to that, I worked as a R & D Engineer in an electrical company (Ashida Electronics Pvt. Ltd., Thane, India), where I primarily designed electronic hardware and embedded software for leading products of the company.

I have delivered lab classes for undergraduate students and also have supervised undergraduate student projects during my PhD and my time in industry.

  • PhD in Medical electronics, Aston University, U.K. (2009 – Present)
  • BEng in Electronics & Telecommunication, Mumbai University, India. (2003 – 2007)
  • Diploma in Industrial Electronics, V.P.M.’s Polytechnic, Thane, India. (2000 – 2003)

Research interests

My major research interests are in embedded electronics circuits and I am currently developing an embedded system for the new design of blood pump.
