The Photonics Research Group runs a series of internal and external seminars. The seminars cover a range of topics, from experimental and theoretical problems of photonics to industrial applications. People from outside the University are welcome to attend the seminar series.
Upcoming Seminars

Title: Laser-induced chemical transformations
Time: Thursday, February 9, 14.00
Room: NW604
Abstract:
In the report laser-induced chemical transformations developing in liquid and solid phases and liquid-solid interface are considered.
Laser-matter interaction processes in solid-liquid interface are analyzed for the case when chemical activity of the liquid phase is
initiated by laser radiation. The main attention is focused on transformations associated with photo- and thermo-induced chemical
reactions resulted in formation of specific structures and/or phases (crystalline or metal elements) in multi-component glasses.
