Abstract
The
reliable diagnosis of Parkinson's disease is notoriously difficult to
achieve with misdiagnosis reported to be as high as 25% of cases. This
talk describes the novel application of two evolutionary algorithms,
Cartesian genetic programming (CGP) and an immune network inspired
algorithm, to neuropsychological testing using conventional figure
copying tasks. Results will also be presented from recent clinical
trials at Leeds and Liverpool NHS Trust hospitals.
