Abstract

In this talk we discuss our experiences with creating and using an online submission and assessment tool (called BOSS) which has evolved over a number of years. We present an overview of the technical challenges this work has presented and the solutions adopted. We also reflect on the issues raised - technical, administrative and pedagogic - when such a tool has been deployed in practice.
