Char Combustion

The overall aims of this project were to derive kinetic models for the combustion of biomass fast pyrolysis char in order to design char combustors with confidence.  The models will be used to predict combustion performance under specified conditions in fluidised beds and used to design optimised biomass char combustors for both demonstration and subsequent commercial application.
