International Engineering and Applied Science Foundation Year

International students who require additional English Language tuition in addition to a year of preparatory studies will be invited to select our International Engineering and Applied Science Foundation Year.

These courses devote one third of their curriculum to English Language tuition delivered by the Language Studies Unit specialists within the School of Languages and Social Sciences. 

Students will gain English Language skills which will equip them for a university education at Aston. Modules on information technology and key skills are also mandatory for this programme. The remainder of the course content will depend on the individual qualifications and aspirations of each student.
