: Electricity Distribution Certificate of Competence by Distance Learning FLEXIBLE START DATES
This course is designed for students who have prior theoretical knowledge of power engineering and wish to expand their understanding of the practicalities of electricity distribution and the factors underpinning them. All Modules reflect contemporary practice in electricity distribution utilities and are extensively illustrated with both photographs and diagrams. Each contains a number of questions, many in the form of design projects, on which the student will receive a marked assessment and constructive feedback. Students may choose to undertake one or more Modules and a Certificate of Achievement will be awarded upon satisfactory completion of each module. However the Certificate of Competence in Electricity Distribution will be awarded to those completing all six modules.
Modules will be supplied electronically in pdf format, either over the internet or on CD-ROM dispatched to the student’s home or company address, as preferred. Students must return questions for assessment within 30 working days of receipt of the course materials, after which the following Module will be dispatched, if the student has elected to undertake more than one. All 6 modules must be completed within 18 months of the start date.
