Aplications for 2012/2013
Applications to the Access to Learning Fund for the 2012/2013 academic year are open.
What is the Access to Learning Fund?
The Access to Learning Fund is a source of financial assistance for Aston University students who are experiencing unexpected financial hardship or a genuine lack of sufficient funds. Funds are available for essential living costs only and not tuition fees, awards may also be capped.
The application requires you to provide specific documentation to support your circumstances and enables us to assess your application for financial assistance by looking at your income and expenditure throughout the academic year. Applications are assessed and awards (if successful) paid within a maximum 4 week period.
You may also apply to the Fund if, following an initial screening process, you have been identified as maybe having a specific learning difficulty. An applicant would meet certain criteria and their application would be supported by the Disability and Additional Needs Unit (DANU) who can be contacted by telephoning The Hub on: 0121 204 4007 or by emailing: danu@aston.ac.uk
