If you have a physical impairment or mobility issue, DANU's services may include:
- Advice and support with applying for Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) or other available funding
- Referral to Assistive Technology Officer (ATO) for advice
- Study Support Workers e.g. note-takers, readers or other study support (DSA approval or other funding source required)
- An arrangement with the Library to enable you to extend book loans
- Liaison with the student Accommodation team where appropriate
- An orientation of the campus when you arrive
- Liaison with your School of Study to arrange appropriate support such as:
- Lecture notes or presentation materials in advance
- Extra exam time in examinations or other assessment arrangements
- Additional support from your Personal Tutor
