We are here to advise you, provide you with information and where appropriate, offer you support for a variety of disabilities and additional needs
For students with a disability or additional needs the types of support you may be entitled to are as follows:

Arrange screening for Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs) and arrange diagnostic assessments.

Advise on funding available for disability related support, which for home students includes Disabled Students Allowance (DSAs)

Give advice about support available for your course and exams.

Organise Study Skills Support Tuition.

Arrange Study Support Workers provided via Clear Links Support Ltd

Liaise with your School of Study to arrange appropriate support such as:

Lecture notes or presentation materials in advance

Extra time in examinations / class tests and other assessment arrangements

Additional support from your Personal Tutor

Referral to Assistive Technology Officer (ATO) for advice

An orientation of the campus when you arrive

Liaise with other internal and external Support Services - Counselling, Learning Development Centre, Social Services and Residences
