Schedule for the day

Please find below the schedule of events for the 10.30am ceremony:

Time	Event
8.00am/8.30am	Arrive at Aston University. As a reminder, there is no car parking on campus (park at Millenium Point).
8.00am/8.30am onwards	Pick up robes from MB161, first floor, Main Building, Aston University - have pre-ceremony photography taken if required on the second floor of the Main Building, Aston University (please note that long queues can form later in the day).
9.45am onwards	Depart for Birmingham Town Hall using the coaches provided (situated next to the Students' Union). Alternatively take a taxi from the mini roundabout outside the Main Building, or walk to the Birmingham Town Hall using the walking map - the maps will be available from the lower foyer of the Main Building.
10.00am	Pick up your guest tickets from the Box Office at Birmingham Town Hall (if applicable), give the tickets to your guests and go to Checkpoint (make sure you are robed first). PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST BE AT CHECKPOINT BY 10.00am AT THE LATEST! Please do not be late for your ceremony as this delays the start for all other graduands and guests!
10.30am	Take your seat in the Auditorum.
11.00am	Ceremony commences.
12.00am to 12.15am	Ceremony finishes, graduates will follow the retiring academic procession outside (weather permitting) for a photoshoot on the steps of Victoria Square.
12.20am	Make way back to Aston University (coaches will be parked behind the Birmingham Town Hall in Paradise Circus, same place as drop off point).
12.00pm onwards	Hospitality and prize giving hosted by Academic Schools in the marquee situated next to the Tipping Triangles on campus (times and a voucher for hospitality will be given out to you on the day at at the Birmingham Town Hall).
1.30pm onwards	Official photography on the second floor of the Main Building, Aston University (for all those who chose not to have pre-ceremony photography).
