UniFest Summer School



Aston University has hosted a Summer School since July 2000. Summer Schools are targeted at pupils of Aimhigher partner schools and colleges who have the ability to study at a higher level but may not have thought about going to University.

This may be because they do not know what is involved or they may be from a background where there is no family history of Higher Education.

Be Inspired: STEM UniFest 2013

Aston University's UniFest Summer School 2013 is taking place Wednesday 3rd - Friday 5th July 2013.

UniFest 2013 will provide participants with a 3 day / 2 night experience of university and student life. This year, UniFest will provide participants with a wonderful insight into what it is like to study Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects at University.

The programme will include practical workshops and engaging "lectures" focused around STEM subjects. All activities are lively and interactive and take place in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The programme also includes a wide range of social and leisure activities including team games, trips out to eat and a disco at the end of their stay, giving participants a great opportunity to make plenty of new friends!
