Welcome to the International Ambassador Scheme!

The International Ambassador Scheme gives Aston students an opportunity to represent the University to potential students and the outside world through a variety of different activities. It’s a brilliant way to develop skills that look great on your CV, meet new people, have fun, and get paid for it!

Applying to a British university and living abroad can be to a large extent a challenging prospect especially for international students. Over the years, Aston has taken pride in offering a truly international learning experience to its students. Students from over 120 different countries choose to study at Aston, creating a highly diverse campus community.

One of the main purposes of the Scheme is to promote higher education and represent Aston University to potential students and their friends and family, as well as to provide an insight about all aspects of the University and life at Aston. The International Ambassadors engage in a number of activities such as conducting campus tours, assisting at education exhibitions and incoming visits to the university, assisting in web-based activities such as Live chats and Skype campaigns and presenting on student life at Aston and in the UK.

International Ambassadors will use their own experiences to promote Higher Education and Aston University to potential students and other contacts. No previous experience is necessary, although enthusiasm for the University and Higher Education is essential!

Application process for 2012/13 is now closed.
