We are members of the professional body Agcas; the professional association for higher education (HE) careers practitioners.
We have been named by AGR (The Association of Graduate Recruiters) as one of the UK’s Top Ten Higher Education Careers Services.
We have achieved Matrix Standard accreditation – the national quality standard for organisations that deliver information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work. In November 2008 we once again successfully achieved Matrix Standard accreditation.

Aston University has consistently maintained one of the highest rates of graduate employment in the UK – for example:

• Last year 81.7% of Aston full time first degree graduates were in employment six months after graduation, compared to the national average of 72.4%.
• Aston is ranked 11th out of 120 HE institutions in the UK by The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2009 in relation to graduate employment.
• Aston is ranked 1st in postgraduate employment (three years after graduation) by the Financial Times Masters in Management programmes 2007.
• The Graduate Employers Survey 2007 concluded that 93% of Aston finalists sought advice from AUCS – the highest in the survey, compared to only 55% nationally.
• Aston is 1st in the 2007 Economist MBA rankings for student assessment of the careers service provision.
