Accommodation for International Students

Aston will guarantee all non-EU international fee paying students accommodation in on campus University residences for the duration of their studies provided they apply by the deadline set each year as returning students. This makes settling into University life much easier and means that you stay on campus throughout each academic year.

On Campus Prices
First year International fee paying Undergraduates - 2013/14 - (application form available 18th December 2012)
To guarantee your room on campus, you must complete the on-line accommodation booking form via
http://residences.aston.ac.uk/eaccom/login/start.do and submit it by the deadline stated. If Aston University is your first choice University and you have FIRMLY accepted an unconditional or a conditional offer via UCAS and SUBMITTED your residence form by 9th August 2013 we guarantee to allocate accommodation on campus to you for the first year of your studies. (Please be aware that you are not guaranteed your first choice).

You must use your nine digit Student Number to apply
You will be offered a room on campus once you convert to an Unconditional Firm offer
 
New International fee paying Postgraduates - 2013/14
In order to meet the requirements to guarantee you a room on campus, you must complete the on-line accommodation booking form via http://residences.aston.ac.uk/eaccom/login/start.do and submit it by 9th August 2013.

You must use your nine digit Student Number to apply
You will be offered a room on campus once you convert to an Unconditional Firm offer

Accommodation Offer

Before accepting an accommodation offer, it is essential that you read all the information in the Conditions of Residence and the Licence Agreement. Accepting the offer enters you into a legally binding contract that commits you to the Conditions of Residence and the Licence Agreement, which includes your obligation to pay accommodation fees for the FULL Licence period.

If you miss the accommodation application deadline or if Aston University is your second choice (Insurance) or you are coming through Clearing, we suggest that you still submit an application form. Please be assured that we will do our best to offer you accommodation on campus but this cannot be guaranteed.  

Family Accommodation

We do not have any family accommodation on campus, but there if information available about Estate Agents within Birmingham that may offer family accommodation.

If you intend to bring your

family with you to Birmingham, we advise you to come to the University by yourself initially and send for your family once you have found suitable accommodation.



Bedding Packs

Bedding packs can be purchased from Harriet Martineau Reception on arrival.
The costs are £25.00 for a single bed and £30.00 for a double bed.

Single bed size - 3' x 6' 3"  /  90cm x 190cm
3/4 bed size - 4' x 6' 3" / 120cm x 190cm
